I collect client information in order:
to communicate with clients about appointments (email or phone)
for marketing purposes for my business (Gmail)
recording client sessions (written and filed)
I keep all confidential client records in a locked filing cabinet. My insurance company requires me to store client records for 5 years. This means I can't erase written client records for at least 5 years. Clients may request to have access to their records at any time.
Clients, or those who have joined and will join my mailing lists, may at any time request that details I hold on my Gmail mailing list be permanently deleted. You can unsubscribe from this list whenever you wish by asking me to take you off.
I am registered with and comply with the ICO Data Protection and comply with GDPR guidelines, which came into effect on 25 May 2018.
